The Initiative instituted a reading seminar series between 2017 - 2019. This effort brought together, in a systematic, organized approach, ongoing discussion about the various components of climate adaptation issues, studying what others have done, and brainstorming together on how the Earth Institute can add to the current state of knowledge in a unique and interesting way. The seminar series generated a common intellectual experience on climate adaptation and helped to build a foundation for subsequent collective research and networking.
